Every wetland scientist needs experience evaluating wetlands where the boundary is not obvious. Even seasoned professionals can learn from evaluating such areas, especially in geologic settings that are unique to a region. AMWS is offering a workshop focusing on challenging wetland delineations along the coast of Cape Cod. This workshop will feature the complicated coastal geology of Barnstable County representing many of the Coastal Resource Areas protected under the MA Wetlands Protection Act. Participants will be led by AMWS instructors Scott Smyers (wetlands and wildlife), Stacy Minihane (wetlands), Rich Kirby (wetlands), Glenn Wood (law/regulatory), and special guest Greg Berman (Coastal Processes Specialist from the Cape Cod Cooperative Extension).
Bring your own lunch and auger. Each participant will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
NOTICE: All participants must read and abide by our COVID-19 Events Policy.
