Every wetland scientist needs experience evaluating wetlands where the boundary is not obvious. Even seasoned professionals can learn from evaluating such areas, especially in geologic settings that are unique to a region. AMWS is offering another workshop in our continuing series focusing on challenging wetland delineations. This Fall 2020 Workshop will be in southwestern Worcester County along the Connecticut border. This workshop will feature wetlands within a mix of ecological settings including some complicated land-use history. To further challenge our skills, we will practice the identification of vegetation after the growing season has ended. Participants will be led by AMWS instructors Scott Smyers (wetlands and wildlife, Oxbow Associates), Rich Kirby (wetlands, LEC Environmental Consultants), and Jim McManus (soils, JMM Wetland Consulting Services).

This workshop is limited to 10 participants.

Bring your own lunch and auger. Each participant will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

NOTICE: All participants must read and abide by our COVID-19 Events Policy.
