The Annual Meeting will feature a morning session on project management and risk avoidance, and the afternoon will address failure—when things go wrong. Presentations will include best management practices and case studies, plus loosely scripted skits based on a Conservation Commission meeting, an Adjudicatory hearing, and a Superior Court Trial. You should come away with a greater understanding of how to avoid–or at least minimize—trouble with clients and regulatory bodies.

A short business meeting will follow. Plus, our popular raffles will be back, with three (3) free chances for members to win $100, along with a separate AMWS fund-raising raffle for a bird carving by artist John Dick!

Continental breakfast and lunch are included.

  • Would you like to attend the meeting at no charge? Submit a brief write-up of a bad wetland science business experience (client name redacted) that we can present AS A SKIT that includes you.
  • Would you like to attend the meeting at half-price? Submit a brief write-up of a bad wetland science business experience (client name redacted) that we can present as a CASE STUDY.

If your “ teachable moment” is chosen, you may attend the Annual Meeting at no charge or half-price! Submission deadline: Sept. 14th. Send to: administrator@amws.org

Main presenters: Mike Seekamp (Seekamp Environmental) & Glenn Wood, Esq. (Rubin & Rudman). This full-day Annual Meeting is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Certificates of Attendance issued to all participants.
