AMWS is planning a 3-part Workshop Series focusing on Bank-Mean Annual High Water (MAHW) delineation and utilization of the USGS StreamStats program. This series will consist of a virtual class, followed by two days in the field (spring and fall). The virtual class will review the MAHW regulatory definitions and discuss the utility of the USGS StreamStats program, while the field days will focus on interpreting Bankfull/MAHW conditions at several perennial streams in the Spring (during or closer to Bankfull stage) and then re-visit these same stream systems in the late summer/early fall (during or closer to low flow). We are currently considering the Concord/Bedford/Lincoln area for field locations. Stay tuned for additional details and dates.
